NEI coordinated the electrical requirements of several equipment vendors to successfully build a car/metal shredding and sorting plant. We installed a 600 amp 12,500 volt electrical service to power (2) 2,000 hp DC motors along with an additional 1,500 hp in associated motors. In addition to the power wiring NEI did the process control wiring in this plant that sorts ferrus and non-ferrus metals by type.
