He began his career in 1990 as an estimator with Claude M. Anderson Electric, Inc., where he developed a strong foundation in project planning and financial analysis. After gaining diverse experience with other contractors, Jon returned to NEI Electric in 2013, stepping into the role of Senior Project Manager at the St. Croix Falls, WI office. In 2014, he transitioned to the St. Paul, MN office and became a partner, leveraging his deep industry knowledge and relational approach to drive project success and foster client trust. Jon’s leadership continues to shape NEI Electric’s reputation for excellence and collaboration.

Since joining NEI Electric in 1994, Nanette Renstrom has been a driving force behind the company's operational excellence and financial stewardship. With a strong foundation in public accounting and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management (earned in 1997), Nanette has brought a strategic approach to NEI’s operations and financial management. Her leadership, combined with her dedication to fostering a culture of care and collaboration, has played a pivotal role in NEI’s growth and continued success. In 2007, she became Treasurer and a partner, further solidifying her commitment to shaping NEI Electric’s future.

With over 33 years of experience, Larry Koenig has been instrumental in upholding NEI Electric’s high standards of safety and client care. Since joining as a Journeyman Electrician in 1991, Larry has led as Safety Director, overseeing jobsite inspections and implementing rigorous safety protocols. A partner since 2009, he pairs his safety expertise with a strong focus on building trusted client relationships, ensuring every project is executed safely and efficiently.

Since joining NEI Electric as an intern in 2010, Matt Preston has grown into a key leader, quickly advancing through roles such as estimator and project manager. Today, he leads operations at NEI’s Eau Claire office and Prefabrication Facility, focusing on delivering efficient, high-quality project outcomes. A partner since 2020, Matt has played a vital role in advancing NEI Electric’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
